At this week's dairy auction prices fell again (fourth drop in a row ), increased production cited.
- Fonterra's current farm gate price forecast is at $6.75/kg (of milk solids), while most analysts have lowered their forecasts (to around $6.25 to $6.50)
- Dairy NZ's most recent estimate of break-even is $5.20 to $5.25/kg
Looks like a lower forecast will come soon from Fonterra
