The ECB's mission chief in Greece, Francesco Drudi, with remarks to Greek newspaper Proto Thema.

Greece should not delay agreed bailout reforms

  • If so that could "complicate" an upcoming bailout review by its foreign creditors
  • "If any major backtracking or delays occur in the implementation of the key deliverables due so far, this could complicate the completion of the review"
  • "Unfortunately, a number of parliamentary bills adopted after the conclusion of the second review may not be in line with program commitments and will have to be assessed by our teams"

Greece's third bailout review is expected to begin in October

  • Bad loans, the 2018 budget, the energy market & privatizations will be among the main issues
